Where are they now?

Where are they now?

We love to hear from former students to find out what they’re up to, whether their career choices worked out or whether their lives or careers have taken a completely different and unexpected turn. Where are they now is a great way to catch up with old friends – and maybe rekindle those friendships by making contact through this site and its comment board. Please feel free to send in your photos and stories and we’ll use as many as we can. Email simon.heath-harvey@nottingham.ac.uk or update the class notes section of Your Profile at www.alumni.nottingham.ac.uk.

After leaving university and the birth of my second child I completed a PGCE and became a teacher. Teaching first in Nottingham City I moved up the leadership ladder and have now got my first Headship in Doncaster.

Masha Lloyd

Hi, I was at Nottingham University studying Spanish and Portuguese from 1976 to 1980. Today I live in Spain, married a Spanish priest and have two grown up daughters. Somehow I got into the communications world in the telecoms sector in Spain and have held jobs such as marketing manager for Motorola Spain and Communications Director for Nokia Spain. Today I am the Communications Director for Yoigo (Spain’s fourth mobile phone network operator). I write a blog about my life on a weekly basis and amazingly have more than 90.000 page visits. You can follow my life here: http://mashalloyd.blogspot.com. Would love to hear from my fellow students in the Spanish department in those years.
