We love to hear from former students to find out what they’re up to, whether their career choices worked out or whether their lives or careers have taken a completely different and unexpected turn. After leaving university and the birth of my second child I completed a PGCE and became a teacher. Teaching first in Nottingham City I moved up the leadership ladder and have now got my first Headship in Doncaster.

Masha Lloyd
Hi, I was at Nottingham University studying Spanish and Portuguese from 1976 to 1980. Today I live in Spain, married a Spanish priest and have two grown up daughters. Somehow I got into the communications world in the telecoms sector in Spain and have held jobs such as marketing manager for Motorola Spain and Communications Director for Nokia Spain. Today I am the Communications Director for Yoigo (Spain’s fourth mobile phone network operator). I write a blog about my life on a weekly basis and amazingly have more than 90.000 page visits.
