Have you considered a career in teaching?
Our Initial Teacher Education (ITE) courses have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted. Our ITE team is based in the School of Education, on the award winning Jubilee Campus. We hold open days each year to give people who are interested in becoming teachers an opportunity to find out more about why The University of Nottingham is an excellent place to begin your teaching career and the training routes we offer: PGCE, School Direct and Teach First (all award QTS and PGCE with 60 masters level credits).
Our next open days at the University are from 10am-1pm on:
You will have the opportunity to talk informally to tutors and alumni, tour the School of Education and find out more about us, our ethos and outstanding courses.
Presentations, taster sessions and application workshops will also be available for you to take part in.
Please book your place for Saturday 8 October and Saturday 19 November online.

Pete Bruce
Hi,
I am part of the widening participation team here at the University of Nottingham. We were wondering if we could come to the November teacher training open day to promote some of our volunteering schemes that work with local young people?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Pete
