The Department of American and Canadian Studies present a screening of the 2013 film ‘Fruitvale Station’, directed by Ryan Coogler and depicts the death of Oscar Grant, who was killed in 2009 by a police officer. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Hannah-Rose Murray, PhD student in the Department of American and Canadian Studies.
