If, as a result of the EU Referendum, you are concerned about your ability to live and work in the UK in the longer term, you may be considering taking steps now to safeguard your immigration status in the UK.
Although nothing has changed as yet, in order to assist colleagues who may be affected, the University has invited leading immigration law specialists, Paragon Law Solicitors, to provide seminars and workshops to help you understand what type of application you can make and to give you practical advice on how to present your application to the Home Office.
The seminars are taking place on Wednesday 27 July 2016, you can choose from the following times:
There will be the opportunity at the end of the seminars to sign up for a follow up workshop. The first of these will be held on Monday 22 August 2016.
Further seminar and workshop dates to be scheduled for the autumn. If you are unable to attend a seminar session on 27 July, please email the Human Resources Department at hr@nottingham.ac.uk to register your interest.

Sophie ROCHETTE
Hello, I am French, working at the University of Nottingham as a Research Technician Level 3 for less than 3 years. I have an indefinite contract since January 2016. My partner is Spanish and we have no children. He is doing a postdoc and has a contract ending in April 2018 with a possible extension until 2021. We are renting a room in a shared house and our landlord is dealing with the bills. My only proof of residency is my bank summary sent at home. Best wishes
