The Being Human Festival returns in 2015, showcasing the role that the humanities have in the cultural, intellectual, political and social life in the UK.
This year’s Nottinghamshire theme is ‘Creative City’. The University of Nottingham, working with a range of external partners in the East Midlands, will hold a series of events focused on the city of Nottingham as a creative space and source of inspiration. The programme will explore the heritage of creativity in the city as well as its contemporary creative culture. The theme will include a long tradition of art; learning a language, learning a culture; photography and poetry; writing and performance.
