2018 marks the 70^th anniversary of the University of Nottingham’s Social & Sports Club (UNSSC) – and to celebrate, an event is taking place on Saturday 17 November.

The UNSSC, located at Lenton Eaves on University Park, was established in 1948 and continues today with weekly evening and weekend activities and event days. Its anniversary celebration event will be 1940s-themed and will include live music and fancy dress from the era, as well as a buffet.

All are welcome to attend this event, which will take place from 7pm on Saturday 17 November. The cost of entry is £2, or free to club members. Booking is required: Tickets are available from the UNSSC bar.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, the UNSSC is also offering free club membership (to April 2019) for any non-members who attend the anniversary celebration.
