Tackle climate change with Climate Fresk

Want to help tackle climate change but not sure where to start? Climate Fresk is an interactive workshop that explores the science behind the climate emergency in a fun and engaging way!

The university is rolling out Climate Fresk and aiming to train up to 60 staff and students all at once on the science of climate change at a large kick off event.

In just three hours, the collaborative workshop will teach you the fundamental science behind climate change and empower you to take action.

The workshop is based on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports.

Climate Fresk is neutral and objective only dealing with facts that come from the most respected scientific sources, IPCC reports, which inform political and economic decision-making at the highest level around the world.

It provides people with a chance to take a step back, understand the systems, causes and consequences of climate change.

It will also give you the opportunity to become a facilitator and spread the knowledge further.

Previous attendees have said: “This was great fun and I learnt a lot, including how people felt about the problems and the hopeful implementations we can all do.” – 3rd Year Environmental Sciences Student
