A highly anticipated presentation by an industry leader in DevOps and Microsoft Gold Partner Richard Fennell, Chief Technology Officer at Black Marble Ltd.

Improving your System Resilience with DevOps

DevOps should not end with the delivery of code by the development team. It includes deployment and monitoring whilst in operation.

In this session we will look at the tools available in the Microsoft platform to aid in this process irrespective of whether systems are to be deployed on-premised or into the cloud.

The session:

  • The Features of Azure DevOps
  • Automated Build and Release
  • Automated checking of code quality and known vulnerabilities
  • Infrastructure as code
  • Provisioning of environments in the cloud as part of the release process
  • The use of AppInsights to proactively manage deployed systems for both performance and cost control
