In 2022 the University of Nottingham was matched with the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv through the UUKi UK-Ukraine University Twinning Initiative.

We are now eagerly anticipating the imminent launch of a Dual Master’s in Humanities, which will be a new step forward in rethinking the field of the Humanities as a foundation of Ukrainian soft power, and societal resilience.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Taras Dobko, Rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University, to the university on Tuesday 3 October 2023.

He will meet key colleagues involved in the development of UoN-UCU activities and members of the Ukrainian community in Nottingham and deliver a public lecture in the evening, to which all staff and students are invited.
