The next event for the Nottingham Women Expert Network will take place on Thursday 23 May.
This session will be led by Professor Francesca Klug OBE, a Visiting Professor at LSE Human Rights and visiting Professor at Sheffield Hallam University. Francesca will talk about her experiences working with the last Labour government to honour its manifesto commitment to give citizens statutory rights to enforce their human rights in the UK courts.
The Nottingham Women Expert Network (N-WEN) is a joint initiative with Nottingham Trent University designed to boost the visibility of the many talented women in Nottingham with expertise to share.
This event will take place on 12-2pm on Thursday 23 May in The Winter Garden, GSK Building, Jubilee Campus.
The format will involve an informal discussion, followed by a Q&A and then an hour of networking over lunch. All are welcome to attend.
