COMPARE is a unique collaboration between the Universities of Birmingham and Nottingham that brings together leading researchers to develop novel methods for visualising single membrane proteins and to use these to identify new approaches for prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease and cancer angiogenesis.
The title of Professor Kobilka’s talk is Structural insights into the dynamic process of G protein coupled receptor activation.
The launch will commence at 4pm, Wednesday 18 April, in Lecture Theatre 1, Medical School, Queen’s Medical Centre, University of Nottingham.
It will be followed by a drinks and canapé reception in the Medical School foyer.
