The ESRC I the UK’s largest organisation for funding research on economic and social issues. It supports independent, high quality research, which has an impact on business, the public sector and civil society.

1pm-1.45pm – Welcome and introductory talk
Hear from staff who can give you more information about what an ESRC-funded studentship at Nottingham involves.
1.45pm-3.45pm – Pathway application workshops and general Q&A
Drop in to see academic contacts from each of our 13 training pathways to ask them about the subject-related aspects of the studentships and the application process. These sessions will run in parallel so think carefully about which are most relevant to you. You will be able to select a pathway when registering for the event.
The core ESRC DTP Team will also be available to answer more general questions about the scheme and applications processes.
3.45pm-4.30pm – Final Q&A
The core ESRC DTP Team will be available to answer any final questions.
