Professor Kristin Aune will present the findings of a two-year study of worldview diversity on UK campuses.

As part of Interfaith Week at UoN.

This is a great An opportunity to: Strengthen good inter faith relations at all levels, Increase awareness of faith communities in the UK.  It is also an opportunity to Increase understanding between people of religious and non-religious beliefs.

As part of this week, we are inviting Professor Kristin Aune. Kristin’s talk will be on:  Building Student Relationships across Religion and Worldview Difference, she will present the findings of a two-year study of worldview diversity on UK campuses.

This study – abbreviated as ‘IDEALS UK’ – has surveyed over 8,000 students from across the UK Higher Education sector (including UoN students), making it one of the most ambitious studies of student attitudes and experiences in the UK to date.

IDEALS UK included case studies of four contrasting universities to generate ‘on the ground’ understanding of how students navigate religion and worldview differences during their studies.

We welcome you all to the attend this event. The session will consist of a 40 minute presentation by Kristin, followed by a 20 min Q&A.
