Join us for a screening of the 2005 comedy-drama Breakfast on Pluto, written and directed by Neil Jordan and starring Cillian Murphy. Set in the 1970s, a young trans woman, Patrick “Kitten” Braden, comes of age by leaving her Irish town for London, in part to look for her mother and in part because her gender identity is beyond the town’s understanding. The screening will also include an introduction and a Q&A session.
6pm, Hallward Library Screening Room, University Park
