Slave Trade Legacies, Bright Ideas and AHRC Global Cotton Connections present an evening of film and discussion. Two films while be screened – The Colour of Money (a Heritage Lottery Funded project held by Bright Ideas) and Global Cotton Connections: Unravelling the Threads of Slavery (funded by the AHRC Global Cotton Connections project). Part of Black History Month 2015.
This free event is part of the AHRC Connected Communities Festival Fortnight 2015, and is open to anyone interested in reflecting on the global connections of the Derwent Valley and its world heritage site.
