What is community engagement and what is it not? What are the benefits of meaningful engagement with communities for academic work but also for those people engaging with us?

As part of our series of events to support female academics at Nottingham Trent University and University of Nottingham and to raise the profile of their work, this panel discussion will look at the value of community engagement.

Chaired by Dr Paula Black of Nottingham Civic Exchange and with panellists including Dr Alison Gardner from the Rights Lab at University of Nottingham, this one-hour discussion will be followed by an hour of networking and buffet lunch.

This event will take place 12-2pm on Wednesday 26 June in Room 58 (fifth floor), Newton Building, Nottingham Trent University.
