Zines and the alternative press have been a significant part of women’s liberation and feminism throughout history.

Join us for an evening workshop to find out more about the role of print culture within the women’s movement both here in Nottingham and worldwide, and be a part of creating a brand new women’s zine in the session.

During the 3-hour workshop we will find out more about zines, discuss topics and themes that affect women locally and worldwide, and write, draw, design and create a zine that will be printed and distributed once Women’s History Month has ended. The theme will be ‘Freedom and Confinement’ – so please bring along some ideas and any materials you might have to the session.

Free, and no previous experience or knowledge required.
