Free, drop-in event

The Museum is getting hands-on with history for Heritage Open Day and we will be bringing some of our Mediterranean objects out of storage.

Visitors will be able to don a pair of gloves and pick them up for a closer look.

Children (and adults!) can participate in our indoor archaeological ‘dig’, and why not have a go at writing your name in Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics?
