Nominate an ESRC Impact Leader

May 30th, 2016

This is the second call for nominations to The University of Nottingham’s ESRC Impact Leaders Programme (ILP).

The programme successfully supported 13 partnerships in its first year and is based on learning from the University’s innovative and successful Research Leaders Programme. The Impact Leaders Programme aims to build and embed impact and knowledge exchange capacity across the social sciences through this structured leadership programme.

Each school is invited to nominate one academic or researcher, at any career stage, for participation. This opportunity is open to all schools across the University. Applicants can be working in any area of social science research and do not have to have received ESRC funding, however all activities must align with the ESRC’s definition of Social Sciences.

The 2016-17 programme will run for an academic year, from September 2016. Each academic participant will identify a partner from an external, non-academic organisation, who will participate in the programme at the same time. The time commitment required for the structured part of the programme will be no more than six days (academic participants) or four days (stakeholder participants) over the course of the year.

For more information, read the call guidance 2016-17.

If you would like to nominate someone for the programme, please ask them to complete the application form. You will need to authorise the application (section four of the application form), and email the authorised form to ESRCIAA@nottingham.ac.uk by 4pm, Friday 24 June.
