Support your local community — volunteer at Wheee!

Wheee! is Lakeside’s international children’s theatre and dance festival. The event includes a free family weekend (Saturday 1 June – Sunday 2 June 2019), and we’re looking for volunteers to help out during this time.

We are looking for people to join our customer-facing team in roles including:

  • Stewarding
  • Supporting artists in make and do workshops
  • Letting the public know when/where events are happening
  • Giving information
  • Being an ambassador for Lakeside and promoting the weekend

Volunteers should:

  • Be over 16
  • Want experience of working on a major festival
  • Want to give back to the local community
  • Want to enjoy a fun, family weekend

Volunteers are needed on Saturday 1 June 2019 and Sunday 2 June 2019, for either one or both days. Shift times are 10am-5.30pm (breaks included and lunch provided).
