Access to UoN Print Service

May 23rd, 2017

UoN Print Service printers are currently displaying the message ‘No access’ and then prompt for a password, which is not recognised and returns the user to the ‘No access message’.

The workaround is to login manually using university IT username and password via the ‘Alternate login’ button as follows:

  • If prompted by the message ‘No access’, click on OK
  • When the password field is displayed, click on Exit and then Confirm
  • Click on Alternate login
  • When prompted, login via your university username (referred to as a ‘PIN’) and then your password

This is under investigation by Xerox and Information Services. Please regularly check the IT Service Status webpage for updates on the UoN Print Service.
