The 2016 pay award has been implemented for the Research and Teaching and Technical Services job families, as well as levels four and above of the APM job family. Backdated to August 1, the increase appeared in the September payslip.
The pay award for APM levels three and below, and the Childcare Services and Operations and Facilities job families has not yet been implemented – we will update you when this happens.
The University operates a 1-57 point pay scale. Points one to seven have seen varied increases, bringing our minimum hourly rate to £8.25 an hour – more detail is available of the pay award update on the HR website. Points eight and above receive an increase of 1.1%, as do all points on the level seven scale.
