Volunteers required for research study

The Human Physiology Unit are running a research study examining the interaction between different types of dietary fat and the ability of skeletal muscle to synthesise new protein in response to dietary protein intake.

They are currently looking for volunteers who are:

  • male
  • aged 40-60 years old
  • overweight with a BMI>27
  • in good health

The study will involved a medical screening, two experimental visits, and four small muscle samples. An inconvenience allowance will be paid.
