Tuesday 10 October 2017 marked Ada Lovelace Day – a day focused on celebrating Ada Lovelace, the gifted mathematician recognised for creating the first computer programme and foreseeing a digital future.

The blog includes a new video from Dr Dov Stekel, an expert in Integrated Systems Biology in the School of Biosciences, discussing Lovelace’s contribution to science, women’s role in science, and why he thinks so highly of her.
