£10,000-20,000 prizes to fund antimicrobial resistance research

August 30th, 2016

Join Bridging the Gaps for events exploring antimicrobial resistance to apply for £10,000-20,000 in pump prime research funding.

If you are a University of Nottingham researcher (with or without prior knowledge of antimicrobial resistance) you are invited to attend to meet cross-disciplinary collaborators and to create novel research proposals. Each event is 10am-4pm and you must attend the event to apply for the associated prize.

Bridging the Gaps will be opening its final funding call for awards up to £15,000 on 17 October, closing 21 December 2016. Find out more on their website.

Further events will include workshops on novel materials, wounds (both November 2016) and drug discovery (January 2017). There will be a challenge day featuring multinational pharmaceutical companies (February 2017) and a local-SME networking event (October-December 2016).
