The Young Life Scientists’ symposium is an annual scientific conference organised by young life scientists, for young life scientists.
This year’s symposium will take place on Saturday 25 November 2017 at the Medical School at the Royal Derby Hospital. Titled ‘Frontiers in Musculoskeletal Health, Ageing and Disease’, it is aimed at PhD students and early careers researchers investigating musculoskeletal health.
The event, which is supported by the Physiological Society, the British Pharmacological Society and the Biochemical Society, will feature networking and professional development through social events and careers sessions, and as scientific talks and poster sessions.
The symposium will provide an ideal opportunity for early PhD students and early careers research to showcase their work, attend specialised workshops, and listen to nine spoken communications and up to 50 poster presentations.
