This public lecture, delivered by Professor Frank Kirkland will explore the evolution of Gas Turbines and will also look forward as to what exciting developments could occur in the field of Aircraft Propulsion.

Professor Frank Kirkland is a Manchester University Mechanical Engineering Graduate, who then worked for 38 years at Rolls-Royce based at Derby.  He focused on Mechanical Integrity and Design issues across the Rolls-Royce Product Range.

This event will be taking place in: B08 Engineering & Science Learning Centre, University Park, between 4-5pm on Wednesday 29 January.
