Richard Beaven will talk about the impact of the transition from a local analogue to a global digital world on the nature of work and leadership, and will share his thoughts on why diversity and inclusion really matter – and why he believes they are keys to success in the future.
Speaker biography
Richard Beaven has worked in Financial Services for over 30 years with major leadership roles at Barclays, Bank of New York, Thomson Reuters, Lloyds and he is now the Distribution Director at Swinton Insurance, one of the UK’s leading insurance brokers. He leads 3,000 staff across the UK. He is
responsible for the retail distribution, the commercial insurance and specialist lines businesses. He also is a Trustee of Stonewall, the LGBT charity and co-founded LINK, the LGBT insurance network. He is an Executive Fellow of the University of Essex, and is a regular panel speaker at business events. He is passionate about all aspects of diversity and inclusion.
