These sessions are a space for staff and students who consider themselves disabled and/or neurodiverse to share their experiences at the University of Nottingham, shape the university’s approach to disability and neurodiversity support, and create some art in a medium of your choice along the way.
Sessions will involve discussion between staff and students, facilitated by Ashley Collins, EDI Manager for Disability and Neurodiversity. Your anonymised comments in this session will inform the university’s approach to neurodiversity support moving forwards.
Following this discussion, there will be an opportunity for participants to create some art in a medium of your choice (poetry, drawing, collage, music, the floor is yours).
Crafts supplies will be provided, and an experienced creative facilitator from the disabled/neurodiverse community will be on hand to guide you through the process.
