Try your hand at a range of activities inspired by the Francis Willughby exhibition.
Have a go at creating your own bird or bug mobile, design your own insect, try to solve our fiendishly difficult ‘muddle puzzles’ or learn more about Nottinghamshire’s famous naturalist with a guided tour of the Francis Willughby exhibition currently hosted by the Manuscripts and Special Collections department.

There will also be a guided tour of the Francis Willughby exhibition at 12noon with the curator Dr Dorothy Johnston. Learn more about who Francis Willughby was, his link to Wollaton Hall, and how the exhibition was put together. The tour will last approximately 30 minutes.
All activities are free and open to everyone. Apart from the guided tour of the Francis Willughby exhibition, all activities are drop-in and there is no need to book.
