In celebration of Black History Month, the BME Network are holding a workshop on gender identity and race.
In this workshop, speaker Fope Loyeale will give a presentation on how colonialism and racism have impacted trans and non binary people of colour, and how we can understand gender and queer identity from a decolonial lends.
The event is open to all in order to promote learning about the experiences of others.
This free workshop takes place 6pm-9pm, Wednesday 24 October 2018 at A3, Law and Social Sciences, University Park. There’s no need to book in advance – just turn up on the day.
