What’s new about ‘blue collar’ conservatism? First 100 days of Cameron’s majority government

This conference will examine the trajectories set for public policy during the first 100 days of David Cameron’s new government. It will explore tensions within government policy, the extent to which the new government is pursuing ‘One Nation’ conservatism, whether there is continuity in policies from the coalition to the new government, and the consequences of austerity.
