A second round of Student Services briefing sessions will be taking place from Tuesday 12 July until Friday 29 July. These events will be open to all staff – academic and administrative in both schools/faculties/departments and Professional Services – and will be a valuable opportunity to find out more about the new Student Services team.
The sessions have been arranged per faculty and will be delivered by the Faculty Pro-Vice-Chancellor (or a representative) and senior colleagues in Student Services. However, if you can’t make one of your Faculty’s events, or are a member of Professional Services staff, you are welcome to attend any event of your convenience.
These sessions will be an hour long with a half hour presentation and a half hour of questions. The presentation will include updates on welfare support, the Task Alignment Matrix, transition plans and how specific processes (coursework submission, module enrollment, timetabling) will work under the new Student Services organisation. The times and locations of these events can be found below:
These events will be a useful opportunity for colleagues to remain up-to-date with progress in Student Services, and all colleagues are encouraged to attend an event of their choosing.

Is there any reason why there are no briefing sessions being held at KMC? There is a large cluster of staff here that may like to attend a local event.

Hi Pam,
Thank you for your comment.
These events have been arranged per faculty and the venues were therefore chosen by each faculty to be of close proximity to their staff. We do appreciate that this is of some inconvenience to colleagues based at KMC, and there will be lecture captures available for all staff who are unable to attend an event in person. Apologies for the inconvenience.
