The university is seeking new members to join the Sphere Programme Board, helping to support key Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) work across the institution.
The Sphere Programme Board was created as an independent board to oversee and help develop the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion activities at the university to feed into our wider EDI Strategy.
The Board also manages a small discretionary fund that supports EDI initiatives that pilot new ideas which contribute towards the university’s EDI priorities.
Chaired by Professor Raheela Khan, the Board requires new members to help support this important EDI work. We would be particularly interested in hearing from colleagues in the Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences and Sciences as there currently is no representation from these areas on the Board, but we would welcome interest from any colleagues who want to contribute to the EDI work at the university.
The Board meets once each term, but in addition will meet to consider funding applications.
To apply, please complete this short form and return by Friday 19 November 2021.
If you have any questions, please contact steven.macnamara@nottingham.ac.uk or raheela.khan@nottingham.ac.uk.
For information on the projects that the Sphere Programme Board have previously funded, please see our Report on Sphere Funded Projects in 2020-21.
