New Director of Internal Audit appointed

Following a comprehensive selection process, the University has appointed Jenny Harron as its new Director of Internal Audit.

Jenny will join the University on Monday 19 September with responsibility for the delivery of internal audit services across all University campuses, including those in China and Malaysia, providing assurance on risk management, control and governance and developing and implementing a comprehensive audit strategy.

Jenny has an extensive audit background, having begun her career with KPMG, before undertaking several roles at Uniac, the shared internal audit and assurance service for universities, most recently as Assistant Director (Operations). She has a first degree in Mathematics with Physics from the University of York, a MBA from the University of Leeds and is a qualified Chartered Public Finance Accountant.
