The Ingenuity Programme is now open for staff, students, alumni and community members to turn ideas for change into exciting new ventures.
Powered by the University of Nottingham, the Ingenuity Programme is a national innovation programme that directly addresses the UK’s major social, health and environmental challenges through the creation of impactful new start-ups.
The most impactful ideas are awarded top prizes and receive a share of £75,000 in prize funding.
Registration for the Ingenuity Programme 2023/24 is now open. Register today at ingenuityimpact.org.
The programme focuses on three key challenge themes:
The programme provides participants with start-up skills training, support with mentoring and networking and routes to funding for early-stage impact driven businesses, as well as providing experiential learning and entrepreneurial development opportunities.
Past winning campaigns include a physiotherapy app for children with disabilities, allergen-free snacks and flashcards to help refugees overcome language barriers.
If you want to learn more about the Ingenuity Programme and the opportunities that come with it, the university is holding a number of taster session events where you can find out more.
The taster sessions will provide an overview of the programme as well as outlining the benefits of getting involved.
They will include a case study of Ingenuity Alumni and their winning idea and will offer an opportunity for Q&A and open discussion.
