Following the installation of water valves and meters to the Jubilee Campus Spine Road water main, Estates have identified the location of a major mains water burst. Currently installation of an emergency over ground water main is taking place in order to stop the leak which enables a new water main to be excavated and laid along side the existing main. The projected completion date for the renewal of the main and reinstatement of the road is the 10th January 2020.

The Estates Department apologies for any inconvience caused by these works.

Hi Min. Thanks for the details. I’ve just been told by a colleague that staff members on Jubilee Campus should have had an email yesterday informing people that the tarmac work will go ahead today, with the road expected to be open again by tomorrow (Friday) morning. Thanks, I hope that helps.
