January 20th, 2020
The University of Nottingham is proud to support International Women’s Day and celebrate the women in our University community.
A new funding initiative, designed to support multiple locally-planned International Women’s Day activities throughout March 2020, is now available.
You can use this form (O365 login required) to apply for between £50 and £200 to support International Women’s Day activity aimed at University of Nottingham staff and/or students. The funding is available on condition that it will be matched by funding from another source (this could be the associated School/Department/Group/student society, or an external source).
Following the event/activity, a case study (template will be provided) must be completed and submitted to the International Women’s Day Planning Committee. The case studies will be used to highlight IWD2020 events from across the University, showcasing the impact of the combined events.
The closing date for applications is Friday 31 January 2020. The review panel – made up of members of the IWD planning committee and a representative from the Sphere programme board – will assess eligibility and allocate funding by the end of the following week.
Groups applying for funding must have a project code it can be transferred to.
