Fancy yourself a know-it-all? Want to feature on a BBC quiz show taking on some of the country’s most knowledgeable minds? 12 Yard Productions is looking for teams of contestants for a new series.

In each episode the resident Egghead team will take on a team of six challengers in a series of quiz rounds, including Arts & Books, Film & Television, Food & Drink, Geography, History, Music, Politics, Science, Sport and General Knowledge. If you have an excellent level of general knowledge or are an avid pub quizzer then this could be the game for you.

Each episode offers the chance to win £1,000. If the Eggheads win, the money rolls over to the next episode.

The series is being filmed from Saturday 6 January until Sunday 21 January at BBC Scotland in Glasgow. Travel and accommodation will be provided for successful applicants.
