Derby Road: Road closure

October 8th, 2019

Due to a gas leak, Derby Road has been closed as emergency work is carried out by Cadent Gas. The closure is estimated to remain in place until Friday evening.

This will affect staff and students travelling to Jubilee Campus, especially those travelling from University Park. Nottingham City Council are asking people to use alternative routes, and visitors to Jubilee Campus are advised to use the Wollaton Road entrance via the ring road at Middleton Boulevard.

The University hopper bus 903 to Jubilee campus will not be stopping at Hillside and Triumph Road and will be diverted via Middleton Boulevard in both directions.

There are also severe delays on the Orange 34, 35 and 36 buses and these are being diverted towards the city centre via Clifton Boulevard, Abbey Street and Gregory Street. Updates are available at http://nctx.co.uk/service-updates.

Further updates will be announced on the @NottmTravelwise and @Transport_Nottm Twitter pages.
