Collaborative research programme — call for proposals

Proposals are invited for a two-year collaborative research programme offering a grant of up to £40,000.

The call for proposals has been announced by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), Brazil, the University of Birmingham and The University of Nottingham, to fund joint collaborative research projects under the Scientific Cooperation Agreement between the institutions.

This is an opportunity for research teams affiliated with the University of Birmingham and The University of Nottingham and researchers affiliated with Higher Education and Research Institutions in the State of São Paulo.

Up to the equivalent of £40,000 per awarded proposal will be provided, to cover research-related expenses directly pertaining to the project as well as travel (air tickets), health insurance, and living allowances for researchers in scientific mission between the two countries, for up to two years.
