October 12th, 2017
The UTT application cycle will start on Friday 27 October and all new applications received will be processed in Campus Solutions.
For Postgraduate applications the current online application portal will be closed to applicants from the end of the working day of Wednesday 18 October; from Monday 23 October the current online application portal will reopen for applications to courses that start before 01 April 2018.
From Monday 23 October, MyNottingham will open for agents and new applications made to courses commencing from 01 April 2018 onward.
For existing applications made for courses commencing 01 April 2018 and beyond, it is anticipated that details for logging into MyNottingham will be provided to applicants from Thursday 26 October.
From Monday 23 October, Admissions will be extending the use of Campus Solutions to include the management of direct applications to courses starting from 01 April 2018 and beyond – mostly postgraduate and international applications. The current system (PGA) and application portal will continue to be used for applications to courses starting prior to 01 April 2018.
Various communications will be issued to applicants at different stages of the application cycle to inform of the forthcoming changes.
On Monday 23 October we will be updating the Admissions pages of the University website and the portal with a link to the new system.
While we are running with both the current and new systems, prospective students will be presented with two links. One link will be for courses that start before 01 April 2018 and will lead them to the current application system. The other will be for courses starting from 01 April 2018 and will lead to MyNottingham.
There will be a limited time when PGA cannot be updated; however, colleagues can access Saturn PG Web during this period.
From Monday 23 October onward, to view the most up to date applications:
If you are working in a school or Student Services and have any concerns about activities in your school or department during this downtime, please contact Business Readiness Manager, Martin Joyce.
Using the MyNottingham Applicant portal, direct applicants will be able to track their application, update their personal details, submit supporting documents, view events and apply for further courses. This system is already being used successfully in China and Malaysia.
Those applying for UK 18/19 courses will also be able to apply for the range of scholarships through MyNottingham that were previously managed by the International Office; for more information about the Online Scholarship Application form, read the Business Readiness Newsletter.
