Women in Science – Lecture by Professor Ute Kaiser

The Nanoscale and Microscale Research Centre (nmRC) are delighted to host a lecture by inspirational scientist Professor Ute Kaiser, Head of the Electron Microscopy Group for Materials Science at Ulm University and Honorary Professor of the University of Nottingham.

Professor Kaiser is a pioneer of atomic-scale imaging using transmission electron microscopy that unravels mysteries of many important materials. Her current research is focused on the low dimensional carbon materials (graphene, fullerene, nanotubes, metal chalcogenide layers), 2D organic crystals and battery materials.

Please join us to meet this outstanding woman scientist, learn about the latest breakthroughs in nanomaterials and celebrate her remarkable career.

The lecture is free to attend but please register using the link above.
