Understanding your adolescent’s brain – part 3: challenging negative adolescent attitude and behaviour and strategies to address adolescent anxiety and depression at home

The third and final part of the Parent and Teen ‘Connectness’ Programme (Duration 3 days).

Building on Day 1 and Day 2, this is an innovative, solution-focused support programme for those directly or indirectly impacted upon by adolescent behaviour.

Gain the knowledge and tools to de-escalate conflict situations in the home whilst learning effective ways of challenging, correcting & disciplining unwanted adolescent incivility, rebelliousness and risk-taking behaviour and understand the psychology of positive living and mental health. Adopt and adapt the strategies to implement in your own homes.

This programme is delivered by Annika Vassel, who is a psychologist with over 25 years experience specialising in adolescent behaviour, and who operates a ‘No Judgement – No Blame – No Shame’ approach in training events.

Q&A can be taken throughout the day to gain clarity on addressing specific needs as related to the workshop.
