The Vice-Chancellor’s Lecture Series: How will public health across the world change over the next 25 years?

As we mark 25 years of Public Health teaching excellence at the University of Nottingham, we are delighted to host a special Vice-Chancellor’s lecture to hear two of the world’s leading experts in conversation on what the future holds for global public health over the coming decades.

  • Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus (Director-General, World Health Organization, and University of Nottingham Alumnus)
  • Professor Jonathan Van-Tam MBE (Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Department of Health and Professor of Health Protection, University of Nottingham)

The public lecture will be introduced and chaired by Professor Shearer West, FRHistS, FRSA, FHEA (Vice-Chancellor and President, University of Nottingham).

This event takes place 11.15am-12.30pm, Friday 19 July 2019 at the Great Hall, Trent Building, NG7 2RD.

Guests should take their seats by 11.15am for a prompt 11.30am start. All guests are invited to stay for a buffet lunch from 12.30 following the lecture.
