This event is a Counselling, Psychotherapy and Trauma Studies Seminar on The Poetry of Therapy and Recovery. Presented by Mark Pearson, Gary Winship, and Stefan Rennick Egglestone with readings from Dr Caroline Fox and Professor Martin Orrell.

In this experimental seminar we will examine the way in which poetry can reach for ways of expression beyond other forms of communication. The seminar will reflect on poetry workshops, and will examine the possibilities of a new perspective on poetry and psychotic experience, and the way in which poetry might lead to new praxis for clients and staff in the field of mental health.

This event will be taking place Wednesday 25 March between 6–7.30pm.
