Following the success of the first Power of Music in Health and Social Care Conference in October 2018, Research and Innovation are delighted to announce a second conference in November 2019.
This one day conference brings together care partners interested in the role music has in quality of living and care and is run in partnership with Lakeside Arts, Room 217 Foundation, Live Music Now, Music for Dementia 2020, OPUS Music and Health, Institute of Mental Health, Social Prescribing Network and ESRC Festival of Social Science.
The conference is for anyone who wants to learn more about the role music plays in care, including care providers, family and volunteer caregivers, care receivers, care workers, musicians, faith-based and community agencies, students, researchers, policymakers and the community.
This conference will take place 8.30am – 4.30 pm on Monday 4 November at the East Midlands Conference Centre, University Park.
Early bird tickets are available until Friday 30 August and cost £70. Following this, tickets will be available at the standard rate of £85.
