Enquire conference 2022: embedding EDI in a post-Covid world

The ENQUIRE conference is an annual event run by postgraduates in the School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Nottingham.

The conference has a track record of showcasing and supporting postgraduate and early career research in a positive and encouraging environment, and from a wide range of social science disciplines and academic institutions.

The theme for this year’s conference is: Embedding equality, diversity and inclusion in the Covid-19 world.

The School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Nottingham invites all doctoral and early career researchers from wide range of social science disciplines and academic institutions to submit their abstracts to the annual ENQUIRE Conference.

The conference welcomes both empirical and conceptual contributions to issues of equality, diversity and inclusion and how social research can contribute to eradicate prejudice and discrimination based on an individual or group of individual’s protected characteristics in the post Covid-19 world, such as age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, and race, etc.

Presenters will receive feedback from peers in a positive and supportive environment.

  • Gender and sexuality
  • Education identity and challenging racism
