Black History Month Workshop: Decolonising the Curriculum

The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the School of Sociology & Social Policy warmly invite you to Decolonising the Curriculum.

This is an opportunity to re-think the beliefs that underpin the curriculum, to challenge these values and to imagine a different curriculum that is inclusive of other voices, histories and theories.

This is one of three events aiming to provoke reflection and open up new conversations between students and staff about the social world we inhabit and the learning and thinking that goes on within the School.

This event will take place 2.15-5pm on Wednesday 30 October in the Law & Social Sciences Building. Coffee will be available from 2.15and the workshop will run from 2.30-5pm.

This is a free event and is open to staff and students.
