Want to take your first steps into leadership?

February 1st, 2017

Looking for that first promotion into a leadership position? We’ve got a programme to help you, but nominations close soon.

Our Aspiring Leaders programme is all about preparing you to take on your first leadership role, and nominations for our first intake are closing on Friday 10 February.

This programme is for any member of staff who’s thinking about taking on their first leadership role. So no matter where you work in the University, if you’re looking for that first role as a leader, or if you’ve been identified as potential leadership talent this programme will give you the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and deepen your understanding of what leadership means in the University context.

The way to join the programme is through our nomination process, which is only open until the 10 February. Find out more by visiting the Aspiring Leaders Programme webpage.

This programme is being launched as part of the wider Leadership and Management Academy, which has been established to support staff and develop existing and future leaders at all levels, across all job families, providing a comprehensive range of learning and development activities.

You can find out more about all of our programmes by visiting the LMA Hub, or if you’re after help right now, you can access our catalogue of learning resources for leaders. You’ll find all this and more by visiting nottingham.ac.uk/lma and clicking on the LMA Hub.
